Many former students have pursued careers in dance: Rockettes, Performers in Disney World, LA, NYC, dance teachers and dance studio owners, here and all over the USA.

CURRICULUM
Dance Fusion Studios prides ourselves on a full dance education. We truly teach students “how” to dance, and to become technically sound performers. Our curriculum encompasses many different aspects that will help your dancer to achieve not only collegiate, but professional pathways.
Tap
Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound. Exercises focus on building flexibility in the knees and ankles. With improved coordination and developed speed of movement, students are challenged with increasingly more complex and intricate movements. This is an upbeat and energetic class.
Ballet
Ballet classes incorporate multiple styles of balletic training to create a curriculum that is classical and focuses on exercises at the barre and center. These classes help develop a dancer’s understanding of proper technique, positioning of the feet and body placement while strengthening their flexibility, and core strength. Movement across the floor incorporates turns, jumps, leaps, and footwork.
Acro
Acro classes emphasize strength and flexibility and teaches students skills related to contortion and tumbling. Students are placed in their leveled class in accordance with the studio’s leveling curriculum.
Jazz
Jazz class will focus on isolations of the body while improving flexibility. Class curriculum is based on ballet techniques layered with traditional jazz movement. Each class consists of a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, followed by across the floor combinations, and center floor choreography. Students will have the opportunity to try various styles of jazz.
Hip Hop/Breakdance
Hip-Hop classes are high energy and fun. This class is influenced by street movements and encourages students to develop their own personal style as they are introduced to various styles of hip-hop. This class builds strength and stamina and improves body conditioning.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. The style combines ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary.
Combo Class(Tap/Ballet)
The Combo classes are a wonderful introduction to tap and ballet for our youngest dancers. It combines high energy tap with the serene, fluid movements of ballet. A must for any enthusiastic 3 or 4 year old!
